Our role as a responsible company extends beyond the Safe Design & Development of critical safety products
We are committed to protecting the Environment by reducing energy, water and waste at our manufacturing & admin facilities.
Green Energy
We are pleased to announce the completion of Second Phase of our Solar Power Plant on the roof of our manufacturing facility. This reiterates our pledge towards going Green and contributing toward a sustainable future. The second phase capacity of 315kW augments the initial capacity of 400kW commissioned in 2022. The new capacity consists of 2137 panels and six 100KW inverters, along with an integrated cleaning system, and will help save 52000 trees and 660000 Kgs of CO2 emissions annually.
Rainwater Harvesting
We have completed Phase I of the Rain Water harvesting involving the construction of drains and underground pipelines to store rainwater through filtration in a 90,000 litre water closet reservoir to allow approximately 60% of the collected water to recharge the aquifers and replenish groundwater.
Energy Efficient Manufacturing
Our production processes reflect technology choices geared to ensure energy efficient and hence reduced CO2 emissions.
Packaging
Our Environmentally Sensible Packaging using Instapak® foam minimizes the amount of packaging used without compromising the protection of shipped goods. It is also produced without chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) or hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), which have been associated with the depletion of the ozone layer.
Instapak® foam cushions can also be reused as carton fillers or reshaped manually to fit the next product shipped. Instapak® foam compacts to approximately 10% of its original volume in a landfill. It is biostable and will not degrade to pollute air or ground water.
Planting Of Trees
We have planted over 200 trees in our factory to reduce flooding, improve water catchment, generate oxygen, reduce pollution and benefit posterity while decarbonising the atmosphere.
